Mr. Lakpa Tenzing Sherpa is the co-founder of Blackbird Tours. He has converted his blazing passion for birding into his career. He hails from Yuksam, West Sikkim which is the entry point to Kanchendzonga National Park where the mesmerizing Goechala trek is. It was through meeting various birders with whom he undertook the trek as a guide to Goechala that he found his love for birds at a very young age and has since been nurturing his passion. Sikkim is a heaven in terms of bird diversity. Lakpa has almost two decades of experience in birding and has been leading bird tours in Sikkim, North-East India, and Ladakh. His affable personality combined with his vast experience in leading groups of various sizes and age groups makes him an ideal birder for anyone. He is one of the best birders in North-East India.
